Many thanks for yesterday.
I was hoping for as good a day as for the micro greens and it was.
Learned heaps in how to prepare raised beds, seed gathering, planting seeds, transplanting twice, (didn’t know you could do that), growing the plants, watering and harvesting.
Great course, and once up and running will be back to do the advance course.
Cheers and thanks
I really enjoyed your course, it was wow planned and super informative. Thank you for a great day.
Thank you & Harry for today's workshop! I enjoyed it immensely and will be recommending it highly to my friends. Your vast knowledge and passion for gardening is very inspiring. I loved the whole day, so cannot really point out any potential improvements. I thought it was perfect as it was 😊
You really are living the dream and I wish you all the best.
Can I please just ask if you could email me the exact name of the bag of minerals that you were using and where to get it from? I was meaning to take a photo of it but forgot.
Thanks again and I hope to see you on another workshop in the future.
Just wanted to say thankyou - your workshop was inspiring and you are a great presenter - so full of enthusiasm, its hard not to get excited!!
Hi Yotam and Niva.....thank you so much for a fantastic workshop on Saturday! I'm so glad I decided to commit to coming along. The chance to learn from you and meet so many like-minded people has really inspired me.
I LOVED the workshop. It was really great and I’ve been recommend it to everyone through FB and Instagram... I liked how real it was – using river stones as the weights in glass jars – I would not have thought I could do the ferments like that (not needing a fancy crock or airlock system). Being able to taste things was great – I didn’t think I liked kimchi but now I’m looking forward to making that.
It was wonderful catching up with you both on Saturday. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed being around like minded people again!! The workshop you put together was excellent. I had visions of struggling through the morning because I'd been up since 5am and travelled three hours to get to the venue but not so. If anything I was totally stimulated and very much regretted having to leave early. Thank you both for all the information you've sent as attachments, your time and what I think was excellent value for money. I LOVED the workshop. Fantastic workshop if you are thinking of setting up a commercial operation for organic vegetable growing. The real time data and practical information gained through years of gardening experience that Yotam shares, will save you months if not years of fumbling through and making unnecessary mistakes.
Delivery of Yotam and Niva's Market Gardening Workshop was great. Very well paced, informative and down to earth. Thanks, Suzy and Paul.
My day at Pakaraka Farm was so inspiring. Yotam is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about all that their family do. So learning, taking the info in and understanding eveything was made very easy because of this. We came away with the fresh product of what we had been learning about to eat, fresh seeds sewn on the day to nurture ourselves once home and the knowledge and contacts to carry on if we so wished. I can only recommend Pakaraka Farm/Permaculture. The believe and enjoy all that they do. Which transpires into a great learning experience and wholesome produce. Thank you or sharing!
Great experience coming down and listening to you. Priscilla and I will definitely take the knowledge and skills we learnt on board and apply it to the community garden that we belong to. We would like to see our community have better food security and health that we feel a community garden can provide.
The course was packed with useful information with a good balance of discussion and practical presentations. Both Yotam and Niva were warm and friendly and their passion for premaculture shone through. The course showed us the workings and practicalities of life as a market gardener and taught us the concepts of growing sustainably and being good stewards of the land. Jeanette and Harry were gracious and knowledgable hosts who were generous with their time and farming experience with our group. If you are thinking of becoming a market gardener, this course is a must.
Great workshop, really enjoyed it and learned loads. Catering was great. fielded questions and group discussion well. You packed a lot into a 1 day workshop, though I didn't feel overwhelmed at the end.
"I really enjoyed the workshop on Saturday and got so many great insights. I loved the combination of theory and seeing it in action. I loved seeing how you are using organic practices to create a viable market garden. I loved your clear passion and dedication to the cause, but also the pragmatism - using inorganic materials like weed mat and closures, but buying high quality so they can be used over and over again. The shared meals made for a very welcoming and enjoyable environment. Our time with Jeanette was also very inspirational - their resilience and determination was impressive - practical tips, like the bottles as mini green houses, was great. "
