Pakaraka Permaculture Market Garden

We are growing over 12,000 kg of food a season on a 1/3 acre of land, using organic regenerative no-till practices. We have been providing fresh produce to our community every week since October 2014. We believe the future of food is in small scale-diverse and local production.

We are very passionate about growing nourishing food for our community, and we specialize in growing fresh seasonal vegetables, salads, microgreens and cut flowers.

Our operation, including a coolroom and an electric delivery car, is powered by our solar system. We aspire to deliver our vegetables in the same way they are grown – with care for the earth, sunshine and love.

Pakaraka Farm

Is an off-grid 215 acres of diverse agro-ecological projects, including 180 acres of regenerating native bush.

We are located in the beautiful Kauaeranga Valley, near Thames, in the Coromandel Peninsula.
